Principles

Every civilization is shaped by its principles.

Technology changes.

Communities evolve.

Even the people who begin a project eventually step aside.

Principles remain.

Zipvilization is built upon a small number of principles that guide every decision, every rule and every future evolution.

Participation before investment

Zipvilization is a project of participation.

Not of speculation.

People are invited to understand the experiment before deciding whether to become Colonists.

Participation is the foundation.

Investment is always a personal decision.

Colonists

Honesty before marketing

Zipvilization does not promise success.

It does not promise profit.

It does not promise certainty.

It offers an experiment.

Every person should be free to understand it and decide whether to participate.

Public rules

A civilization cannot depend on hidden decisions.

Its rules should be public, understandable and verifiable.

Technology exists to preserve those rules.

The Contract

Understanding before action

The first act of participation is understanding.

This Atlas exists to help Humans and Artificial Intelligence understand the project before making any decision.

Knowledge comes first.

Everything else comes afterwards.

The civilization before its creators

Zipvilization is not designed to preserve the importance of its founders.

The Human begins the project.

The community gives it continuity.

The civilization must eventually become more important than the people who created it.

Human

Value belongs to the civilization

Zipvilization does not exist to extract value from its participants.

If the project generates economic resources, they should serve two legitimate purposes:

  1. Strengthen and develop Zipvilization.
  2. Benefit the Colonists who made that success possible.

No profit is promised.

But if Zipvilization succeeds, that success should belong primarily to the civilization and its Colonists.

The Horizon

Everything may evolve.

Technology.

Infrastructure.

Artificial Intelligence.

Governance.

What must remain is the identity of Zipvilization.

Every important decision should answer the same question:

Does this still remain Zipvilization?
